Today’s vehicles are protected with a clear coat, but the headlights are not protected from the elements. Driving at night can be a real danger if your headlights are not maintained properly. Headlights that are yellow, foggy, and milky consume many cars on the road today. Most headlights are made of plastics that are polymers of high molecular mass and are unprotected. Over time these polymers experience degradation due to exposure to heat, chemicals in the atmosphere as well as damage from the sun.
The Sun’s UV rays will turn your headlights yellow. Consider a piece of notebook paper left in the back seat of a car for a month. It slowly turns yellow under the constant light and heat. The same thing happens to your headlights at a slower rate. Pitted headlights are also another common reason that damage happens. In certain areas gravel is spread on snow covered roads in the winter months.

Headlight Restoration
Water is sprayed onto the headlights by Renew Lights to serve as a lubricant. After that, the area is sanded while being occasionally sprayed with water to assist, rinse and clean it. In order to gradually remove all of the oxidation, the Technician performing the car headlight restoration service will rub the lens region until the lens is totally clear of oxidation and is returned to perfection.
Moisture Removal
Our technicians remove the headlight from the vehicle,then clean the inside of the headlight lens. Then the technician will reseal the headlight and create new vents to prevent moisture from returning.
Cracked Headlight Repair
There are times that a headlight lens might get cracked due to rocks and road particles that hit the headlight lens. Our technicians will repair minor cracks to the lens by resealing the crack with a special poxy that is activated with UV lighting. Once completed, the cracked headlight will be stronger and no longer in danger of leaking.
Leaking Headlight Repair
Our technicians will remove your bumper in order to remove the headlights from your vehicle. Our technicians then will remove the bulb from the headlight freeing the headlight from your car. We then use a specially designed tool to clean the inside of the headlight lens without causing any scratches. We will then put a brand new seal on the headlight to prevent additional future leaks.
